poem~ IC You Cant Have the Best of Me~
There aren't enough words to explain my pain to you. i search for all the answers,. but my well ends up dry. ive used up every tear left to cry, for Ive cried so many sleepless nights. My life has changed, more than i ever thought it would,not for the better now that i'm living with this. IC you came knocking,IC you came to steal, IC came to take away all i loved. my dreams and my hopes my plans too, but there is something IC can never touch. you see We are Warriors, and warriors do not bend to thee. IC you cant have the BEST OF ME... im taking my life back the BEST of ME does not get you. YOU cant take away who I'm inside if i dont let you, because im gonna stand and fight. i fight like a warrior, with my head held high., fight with courage,I will NOT lie down and DIE!!!!!! you have no right, i will NOT give in. my life is mine and im not about to rolll over and let you take me down. IC you cant have the BEST of me~
