"Those Words Hurt"

  ‘’You don’t look sick” “You must be feeling better” I’ve heard these words more times than I want to count. I am sure you all familiar with the saying” Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt” IT’S THE FARTHEST from the TRUTH! In fact, those words make my blood boil. If words that we speak of encouragement can brighten someone’s day, then words that tear someone down    hurt as well. Words are powerful. So understand and now what you are saying, before those words leave your lips. Will they edify or break someone’s spirit.     I know we all can relate whether from ic     or being a chronic pain patient, All these invisible illness, get the short end of the stick. If they only understood what goes on behind closed doors, what we feel as we toss and turn late at night. People Ask is Remission Possible its not the same as Controlling Symptoms~

Good evening readers’ know that its been awhile since I wrote here in my IC blog and I truly apologize for that. Between my own overall health and going to my husband’s numerous doctor’s appointments for   the weight loss surgery he will be having, plus there was a death in the family things have been very hectic. But I have not forgot about you all, so I’m BACK and I’m excited to be back. The Issue that I want to discuss that ive seen a lot of mention of it within the IC community is”Is Remission possible with IC” ive seen so many divides within our family. I have seen friendships dissolve over this, and it’s so sad. There is still so much, the medical community does not understand about interstitial cystitis. There is still so much that we as the patients still do not understand. I view IC as a Evolving disease, its constantly changing, in a lot of cases it progresses and gets worse over time.
