My Rainbow after the Storm

Good morning my Precious Family, how are you all holding up today? I know I haven’t written much in my blog, but I’m doing the best I can to catch up a lot has been going on in My husbands and my life to keep us very busy, between family obligations, health issues and changes and some exiting things that are going to be happening soon, which will get into at a later time.
Today’s  entry is not going to be so much like a topic, but encouragement, because we all know how discouraged we can become dealing with  Chronic illness 24/7 day in and day out. My prayer is that however you’re feeling today, whether your pain is really bad and you’re stuck in bed, maybe you’re in the hospital or your working part time, just trying to get through the day so you can climb back into bed as soon as you walk through the door or maybe you’re a busy stay at home mom and your trying to be brave and put a smile on your face for their sake , whichever situation  you find yourself in this entry is for you.
To reassure you you’re not alone and that after every storm the rainbow always shines through! I didn’t sleep well last night, I tossed and turned not because of the pain, but my mind would not shut off, thinking of all my responsibilities and long to do list the next morning. After finally my head hitting the pillow at almost 2:30 am, I woke at 6; 30 hoping to fall back to sleep, but sleep never came, I could hear the rain falling outside and it was soothing to my soul. At last the rain stopped and I could smell the rain still in the air, I could hear the bird’s chirping right outside my window.
I got up, had breakfast and did my daily devotions; I always feel such peace after I spend time in Gods words and I said to myself today imam going to my beauty in the midst of the business, all that’s on my mind, both personal and for those I love .Aim going to see my storm, acknowledge my storm, but know that in the big picture storms always pass over, and that the rain bow always appears. And most importantly is that Jesus can calm any storm, the raging waters can be silenced with just one word spoken by him.
Look for His wonders, pray for eyes to see the beauty! When the storm clouds gather overhead and we all face different storms in our lives, for those with IC we face chronic pain, doctor’s appointments and procedures and surgeries, it’s a hard     life to live, but we are not left out in the cold. We have a place to run for shelter when those clouds grow dark. We have a haven to find solace in, when the pain is unbearable. We have a lifeguard who walks on water, when the waves are intimidating. And we have the promise   that comes with the rainbow, what we go through is not meant to destroy us, but to show  us how much we need Jesus to rely on him every second of every day, how much he loves each and every one of us, wow what comfort that is to me. We may feel alone, but were never alone!

To wrap up this entry I want to share a encouraging quote that sums up what im hoping to relay to you!” God puts rainbows in the clouds so that each of us in the dreariest and most dreaded moments can see a possibility of hope” By: Maya Angelou….. so look for your rainbow after the long hard rain, for nothing can grow without some rain to bring forth beauty~
