Poem~ Im Praying you Through~



Good evening readers. I wanted to write another entry in my blog before the end of the month of August. I know next month is IC Awareness month. Like many of you im brainstorming ideas to do, in my part in getting the word out there more. But this last entry for the month is just going to be poems to encourage you all as you make your way through this crazy maze of a journey called IC.
                                                 “I’m praying you through”
    Its so hard at times to take courage, to take life and to run with it, To rise above the hurt and agony inside our bodies and outwardly too, To press on, when the world and those who don’t understand say cruel heartless things to us. When the pain is unbearable; when you want to give in to defeat. When the tears you cry soak your pillow at night, its in those times it hard to not give up the fight.
   We may be miles apart, yet I feel your pain with every beat of your heart. I’m here praying you through, when the darkness tries to pull you under, when all the cares of this life pile up on your shoulders, you try to stop the tears before they fall, but they do not stop. When you’re afraid and you feel utterly alone, you feel like no one is there to hold you up, im praying you through.
   I’m praying you through; when your body gives way, im praying you through each and every day. When the pain does not cease for a moment of release; I’m praying you through, when you’re tired and, you need a soft safe place to empty the contents of your heart to, im here. I’m praying you through. When the prayers you pray from the depths of your soul, seem to go unanswered, im listening and im praying you through.
   I’m pounding the gates of heaven for you, im praying you through. When the nights darkness seems to not lift, when the rains pour down, when your worries mount one after another im praying you through. I cant take it away, I can’t heal the brokenness you feel, but I CAN and I’ am praying you through.
  My prayers will not cease, I want to uplift, encourage and inspire, I want you to know I feel your pain I see the tears you try to hide. I understand and I truly care, know in your heart, there is someone praying you through right at this moment, here and now im lifting you up to God our heavenly Father.
  I don’t need to know you to empathize with a hurting heart. Why because he loved us first, so I can in turn love you, and pray you through. I want to be a reflection of Him to be his hands and his feet. May Gods grace be sufficient, may her mercy shower you. I pray his Love drenches your life, I pray his peace covers you through the trails you may endure. I pray you cling to his Hope. I pray, I pray for you, I pray I can encourage you this day, may you feel his love and know that someone who understands is praying you through.

I Give Permission

  Put away that smile and brave face. We are not required to stay strong, we all feel weak at times. There is no shame in this. There are more than enough days that I lay in bed and just cry, until I no long have tears to cry with. I cry because of the relentless pain, I cry because I want to be free of this monster that tried to wreck havoc on my body. It does to my body in many ways, but I refuse to let it do that to my soul. This is about giving ourselves room and permission to cry and to let it all out. I need to be honest with myself, I hate this I really do, and WE all do. It’s not fair it feels good to be real and raw and speak it the way it is. I know many of you will be able to relate to this. The day’s I’m bedridden, that’s tough. Poetry~ "Its In Moments Like This I Live For"

Another night of endless pain, hard to remember   the life i had before all this pain began, another night I face, the world sleeps as I lie awake thinking of another time, another place, a place far away from all the pain and the tears, if only I could go back so many years.     As I sit here with tears falling from my eyes I cling to the words I   know my Savior said” never will I leave you, never will I forsake you” its in moments like this I so desire to be wrapped up in the arms of my loving Lord.     Outside I can hear the river flow on by, and the small waterfall at the end. it’s the way I love to   begin and end my days, hearing the sound of God’s creation   the sound reaches into my soul I feel its echo through my body, I sense the peace and the tranquility it brings its in moments like this, amidst the pain that I live for.   Day after day as time ticks away, the hours slip by, they give away to days, days turn into weeks...
