The Big Decision~

Hello beautiful IC Family, this will be a quick and brief entry. In a way personal update, well more so about my husband and a big decision we are making. After 2 years of struggling to decide if he would go through with it, he has decided to have gastric sleeve, which is form of weight loss surgery. This is something we have spent extensive time researching and praying about this. He calls the doctor first thing Monday morning to make the official appointment for his consultation, and then we go from there.
This is a huge life-changing journey he embarking on, were exited, and a little nervous too. I wanted to share this in my IC blog, because not only I wanted the support and prayers for my husband, but also how it will affect me.  How his eating habits could affect my IC, not in a bad way, but finding out what maybe he might have to eat, that I will not be able to eat, or something I start eating, might help improve my ic.
This is a new chapter, which we are embracing. My prayer is that as our food choice become healthier, some of my symptoms become less prevalent. We are already eating smaller portions and eating healthier, doctors already told us, and from the utube video so we have been watching of others who have gone before him and shared their experiences have said start eating, some of the foods now that will be a staple in your diet.
I want don around for as long as possible. We have hopes and dreams, as a couple and I want to see them come to fruition. I want him around for his godchildren mia and hunter. We want to  adopt down the road. I know this also will help him feel better about himself. But foremost HE will be Healthy, we know the changes that will take place aren’t a cure, but a tool to help him achieve his goals!
I ask that you all lift don up in your prayers,  as he starts seeing all these doctors.Pray for me , so I can be the supportive wife that I need to be. Our prayer is also that many of his health issues will be alleviated once he has this surgery, and he continues to eat healthy and exercise easier.
