My gift of Love to you~



                                      ~ Every day in our lives should be a day to celebrate the beautiful gift of Love~
Today is Valentine’s Day, and I want to express my love for my IC family and what you all mean to me and how profound of a impact you’ve had on my life .I’ve told you before, but I want to TELL you all again just what the gift of your friendship means.
                                   Love comes in many forms, The Agape Love of God. Eros love between a husband and wife. And then there is philo love between friends. It’s a deep love for those whom you consider friends .A love that stands by those in our lives in the best and the worst of times.
                                 When you truly love someone your willing to put their needs above your own, and that’s where I owe my deepest gratitude to my Ic family, because I know for a fact, many of you are struggling with pain from the disease, pain from rejection from your family and your friends that just don’t care to understand, experiencing all kinds of struggles, a lot of you have had surgery recently or will be having it soon, and yet the love and support I get on a daily basis is truly a Beautiful treasure that I cherish.
                  Im  moved to tears, to see how even with all you experience in your own lives, you still reach out and touch my heart, with your gentle words of comfort and your understanding  that overflows from each of your lives. I want to daily show this love to you my precious family, your each engraved on my heart. I love you all for who you are, you don’t have to prove anything to me or change anything about yourselves, I love you from the tips of your heads to the bottom of your feet.
              As the love chapter: 1 Corinthians. In the bible says …. Love is patient…. I want to be patient with each of you, to accept you right where you are and expect nothing in return. When you’re having a tough time, when your spirit is low, I want to be there to grab hold and pull you gently back up until you’re on your feet again, however long that takes, I’m here and I’m not going anywhere. Love is kind…love is not self seeking. It always trusts, always protects, and always hopes and always perseveres. Love never FAILS!
             To love another human genuinely is to love them as Jesus loves them. And that is how I want you each to know my love my dear friends. So if there is a gift I can give each of you is to know  how much God loves you, right where you are, and how much I love my friends… you all are amazing.

I Give Permission

  Put away that smile and brave face. We are not required to stay strong, we all feel weak at times. There is no shame in this. There are more than enough days that I lay in bed and just cry, until I no long have tears to cry with. I cry because of the relentless pain, I cry because I want to be free of this monster that tried to wreck havoc on my body. It does to my body in many ways, but I refuse to let it do that to my soul. This is about giving ourselves room and permission to cry and to let it all out. I need to be honest with myself, I hate this I really do, and WE all do. It’s not fair it feels good to be real and raw and speak it the way it is. I know many of you will be able to relate to this. The day’s I’m bedridden, that’s tough. Poetry~ "Its In Moments Like This I Live For"

Another night of endless pain, hard to remember   the life i had before all this pain began, another night I face, the world sleeps as I lie awake thinking of another time, another place, a place far away from all the pain and the tears, if only I could go back so many years.     As I sit here with tears falling from my eyes I cling to the words I   know my Savior said” never will I leave you, never will I forsake you” its in moments like this I so desire to be wrapped up in the arms of my loving Lord.     Outside I can hear the river flow on by, and the small waterfall at the end. it’s the way I love to   begin and end my days, hearing the sound of God’s creation   the sound reaches into my soul I feel its echo through my body, I sense the peace and the tranquility it brings its in moments like this, amidst the pain that I live for.   Day after day as time ticks away, the hours slip by, they give away to days, days turn into weeks...
